Otter Books had my memoir on display for International Women’s Day on March 8th alongside some of my favourite writers of all time. This was a thrilling and surreal moment for me. It was finally real. My book was published and available for readers, everyone and anyone who was interested, to pick up a copy and take it home!! The Stone Frigate had launched!
Meanwhile, inside the store, I was reeling with excitement at seeing my book on the shelves of a bookstore for the first time! I couldn’t be happier that this moment took place in Otter Books.
Incredible author, photographer, and friend, Judy Duchesne-Peckham came by to pick up a copy of my book and brought me a copy of her book, Healing Afghanistan, a photographic expose on her travels in support of education for the local children.
Fellow local Dundurn Press author, and friend, R.M Greenaway came to my book signing event and picked up her copy of The Stone Frigate. I concurrently purchased my copy of her first book, in the B.C. Blues crime series, Cold Girl. Her fourth book in the series, Flights and Falls, was recently released and is getting rave reviews!
